Automation Engineer

In this role, you will oversee the automation and electrical systems of the production, driving development and projects with stakeholders like product design, suppliers, production engineers, and maintenance teams. Your expertise in automation solutions, control systems, programming, robotics, and machine vision will enable optimization and fine-tuning, with larger changes handled alongside system suppliers.

You’ll work with an experienced team, benefiting from their insights and support. Depending on your background, the role may include supervisory responsibilities, though prior management experience is not required. You will report to the Production Manager.

Who are we looking for?

We expect a relevant technical higher education degree (Engineer or Master’s Degree in Engineering) and several years of work experience in automation. You possess strong IT skills, solid cost awareness, and an efficiency-oriented mindset. You communicate fluently in Finnish or Swedish as well as English. As a person, you are analytical and have excellent problem-solving skills, complemented by strong collaboration skills, as the work involves teamwork with both internal and external clients. You are proactive, driven, capable of creating new solutions, and above all, able to think creatively.
